Philip McNamara as you can see in this video on August 29th, 2014 was miles off the Volcano where Philip McNamara was cruising on a boat out in the ocean of Papua New Guinea filming Mount Tavurvu in the distance when the volcano randomly exploded, sending up a huge plume of ash and smoke and sending a massive sound wave across the ocean in Papua New Guinea where you can clearly hear in the video which was intensely loud for such a distance.



Can you imagine what a bigger Volcano would be like?
